Hi, my name is Tatsuya Abe, but everyone calls me Tats.
I studied in New Zealand, and after returning to Japan I spent more than ten years working with clubs such as Kubota, Toshiba, Honda, NTT Com, and D Rocks as an interpreter, strength and conditioning coach, analyst, and coordinator. I have supported many international players and coaches off the field.
Life in Japan brings a series of new challenges. Language barriers, cultural differences, and complex procedures can add stress and take your focus away from what you are really here to do: rugby. I want to be the person who stands alongside you through that.
Your club staff and agent will likely give you great support, but there will be moments when their hands are full. That is when you can lean on me.
